Can't find what set these Japanese cards belong to

Hi,

I have Japanese cards and I know 99% of them, but I couldn’t find what these sets are.

I’ve been searching online for quite a while now and I still have not managed to find what set these cards belong to, i have 32 of them and it would help me a lot if one of you could point me in the right direction, any help is much appreciated, thank you.

I know some pictures are not good, I will try to retake them right now to include the full card, sorry.

Basically all of these cards are from decks/half decks/deck construction kits mate.

Thanks, that is what I thought too, wasn’t 100% sure, I’m still searching.

Just go on bulbapedia at the bottom they have the different eras and within those are a lot of the decks etc that were released.

I didn’t check all the links, but it looked like mostly sealed decks from different dp/BW releases.

Hard to find as people don’t really like this era for some reason.

I have one of these boxes sealed. Which contains 6 x half decks + 3 full decks, and a quite rare pikachu holo.

How I usually search which set a card is from is by going to Bulbapedia. Then search for the pokemon followed by TCG (I.e. “Pikachu TCG”). And then with ctrl+F the set number to the card. There should be from which set it is, or if you click the card you should also be able to see it at the info.

Trainers are a bit more difficult to find imo. And Energies without set symbol are basically important. All you have is the year, but these energies are used in sets, decks, etc. So there usually isn’t one set to point at with Energies.

This is a nice trick and I’ll use it, what about the very first card in the list though, the Hippowdon, I found the same card from the Majestic Dawn set but since there is no card number I can’t be sure. I will have to find a picture of the same card somewhere and compare the set symbole “DP” to be 100% sure, thing I have not managed to do yet.

In case of the Hippowdon I can say it is from the Entry Pack ’08 DX - Torterra Half Deck. I have that card myself and looked it up for my logbook in the past. :grin:

Only 11 left to find thank you all for your help, I think only the trainers are left to find I will check into my cards if I can find a pokemon with the same set symbol as these trainers it will be much easier to find them. Awesome !!!
