I wanted to ask Efour for some help? I’m looking to buy a full art of zekrom and reshiram from black in white base. I love the games. But for zekrom psa labels say gray back ground and black background. I don’t see a difference for reshiram except a huge difference in price of multiple 10s which I don’t understand either. Can someone explain the difference besides the color and the significance of it? All help is appreciated
Zekrom was first printed with a “gray” background and later corrected with the black background (PSA has three labels, cause psa). Here they are side by side:
Few years ago, there was a couple of threads pointing out a small difference in the outline of Reshiram’s hair. It’s very difficult to see in a scan because of the silver on white background. (PSA does not differentiate this variant)
Here’s a zoomed in comparison:
Japanese prints do not have these variants (and also have fantastic texturing), not sure about other languages.
What are the three labels? Why is the corrected version so much more expensive? The grey one is half the price of a black one.
They have a black background, gray background, and a standard black & white (silent on background color). I’m not sure on price differences, could be a matter of personal preference?
Appreciate the help!
