I am looking to pay rough ebay / COMC prices.

In the end, they are your cards and your asking prices.

They are, but in forums like this, you will always have more success listing your buying price.

We all can see what these cards go for on places like COMC and ebay. I am looking to pay roughly those prices. With cards like these, I would like to buy in bulk for commons and uncommons to save on shipping. If you have a rare or 2 or more and would like to move them at going rate with the commons and uncommons that would be awesome as well. I would assume some people just have these lying around, so if they would like to sell without getting killed by fees, I would like to buy without getting killed on multiple separate shipping charges.

I find it odd with buying prices, the 3 other non Pokemon forums I belong to you never state what youre willing to pay, most just assume you are not looking to pay more for something you can get elsewhere cheaper.

Its kind of like a store, I am the customer seeing as I am the one paying money … do you go to a store and start making offers? Or tell the store you want to buy “X” for $30 when they have it marked at $20 … that just doesnt make sense. The store tells you what they have available, the price they are asking, and thats that.

You seem a bit aggressive if I’m going to be honest.

This isn’t a store. This is a place for collectors to discuss the hobby, talk about trends and build a network.

If you don’t want to take my advice, that’s fine. I’m trying to help you get what you want. What you want is to pull something out of another’s collection.

Rather than say “I’m paying roughly eBay” state what you will pay. This forum isn’t like any other I’ve been on. The emphasis is heavy on discussion, rather than sales mate. All the best :wink:

I should have just about all of your Base, Jungle, Fossil wants. I was asking what you were paying to save me time. I’m not going to look up the price of each card one at a time. They are in all different conditions. Holo’s are lower than NM.

Sorry, dont mean to be aggressive, just been buying / selling / trading online for the past 12ish years and its the way ive always done things ( using comparable sales )

I understand this isnt a store, but we are in a buying / trading section of the site … we are not in the hobby discussion section.

Its hard for me to believe that all cards in ones collection is actually for their PC. Everyone has better traders, a wantlist … and usually lots of commons that they dont know what to do with. Its not like im looking for people to offer me up their PSA 9s and 10s and give them to me at a discounted price. Im looking for the bulk of the bulk to fill my holes, im not looking for peoples gems. If I want that PSA 10 holo I understand I am going to be paying for it … that is not what im looking for now.

“Paying rough ebay prices” gives a potential seller a quick idea of what I am looking to pay. If they like the price a card or group of cards is going for and wish to sell for those rough prices … then im all game.

Its fine this forum is heavy on the discussion side, there are sub forums for that, this is the buying / selling / trading sub forum so I believe I am in the right section

Hey

If you would like to come up with a bulk price, for example:

$0.75 for commons, $1.00 for uncommons … I dont mind figuring out prices for the rares and holos.

On a side note, I have all Holos from Base / Jungle / Fossil / Team Rocket coming in, including many doubles. I also have about 125+ different holos from various sets ill have to do research on, but will all be availble for trade for my wants when they come in.
