It’s more about trying to find one where I won’t get screwed by customs.
I can’t ship anything into Australia that I had to pay more than $1000 AUD (including shipping) to buy, otherwise I get charged with a $150 import fee.
I’m happy to pay $700 USD plus postage right now for a PSA 9 1st Shining Charizard.
The one person on eBay that has the card won’t go below $750 no matter what… even though they tried to sell it last month and the buyer wouldn’t pay, I’d pay it but they said they wouldn’t fudge the amount
I’m just going to buy a Magikarp instead.
I’m in Australia too and am interested in this $150 import fee. When does this get charged exactly? I am assuming they won’t release your package until you pay the fee?
