It ended at $650 and the last bid was a day ago. None have sold recently that we know of for more. I think ebay listings show one ended at a similar price a while back.
All the BINs have sold for offers.
I can’t see them selling for more for a while but I’d offer around $580ish at this point.
At that price you’d make more selling to me that you would on eBay.
Doesnt help his case that he’s selling two 1st edition Tyranitars for 700 a piece on instagram. I feel like if charizard sold for 1500, Ttar would be a bit higher than 700.
I don’t know if those were legit sales, I think he is just marking as sold to try and artificially raise the price, he was also selling on FB. Said he “needed money” yet put the prices above the last sold auction prices. He was also selling Mewtwo
I believe the end price was low because of the GSP causing many international buyers to not bid as it will incur further customs charges which might push the card’s price higher by maybe 20%.
I assume the one you are referring to is the one I currently have listed. I am definitely NOT the same seller mentioned in the rest of your comment though. I’m currently entertaining offers, considering this Charizard is a double of mine, but to be honest I’m likely not going to sell it unless a ridiculous offer comes my way.
I’ve had several offers in the last week in the the $1500 range. Definitely fair offers, but I think there is going to be strong growth in value in the near future (especially with Base Set Chariard gaining so much momentum amongst collectors and investors). Just my personal opinion, I think it may be a better time to buy rather than sell.
It’s more about trying to find one where I won’t get screwed by customs.
I can’t ship anything into Australia that I had to pay more than $1000 AUD (including shipping) to buy, otherwise I get charged with a $150 import fee.
I’m happy to pay $700 USD plus postage right now for a PSA 9 1st Shining Charizard.
The one person on eBay that has the card won’t go below $750 no matter what… even though they tried to sell it last month and the buyer wouldn’t pay, I’d pay it but they said they wouldn’t fudge the amount
i feel your pain, i’m in aus too. hopefully a 9 pops up on ebay.com.au or you find a private seller who will declare less than 1000 aud (i find that most declare lower values no questions asked)
