I could, and will, get into boxing cards! What about MMA / UFC? Did they take off?

You should :3

Not sure about UFC/MMA though :slightly_frowning_face:

I focus on high grade, low pop. What would be the 5 “grail” cards?!

Not sure what the real grails are but I bet rookie cards are on that list. Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Floyd Mayweather etc.

Check out 1951 Topps Ringside, 1956 Adventure or for the modern stuff: London 2012 Olympics Panini (which has a few boxers) ~

“Honus Wagner of Boxing Cards” Rocky Graziano A PSA 5 example sold for $72,000 in 2017. I’d say almost any Ali card would be in grail category and I think I’ve seen some signed and graded Ali cards.

Will check them out thank you!!

Also the Topps signature cards - which I plan on getting at some point in the future ~

Outstanding. Ugh. Like I needed to spend more money. Wait until I post my buy list here. I’m insane.

Not sure if you’ve been watching boxing as of late - especially the recent Loma and Lopex fight, @garyis2000 ~

I plan on submitting the first two Tyson Fury cards this week to PSA ~

I feel like I totally neglected this thread since I created it! Well here are my latest additions in boxing cards

I need to send my two Tyson Fury cards into PSA next month ~

Fingers crossed for you! Talking of Tyson this is a great motivational video featuring him I just watched. For anyone struggling right now its well worth a watch.

Would suggest taking a look at the following:
Allen & Ginter N28 John Sullivan from 1888. There tends to be one or two that move in every PWCC pre-war auction, though the high grade examples have stayed pretty quiet until recently.
1911 Turkey Red (T9) Jack Johnson. Super low pop, but a fantastic cabinet card. They don’t come up for sale often, definitely the hardest to get your hands on.
1933 Sport Kings (Goudey) Max Baer. These come up often enough, even some raws available regularly. Absolutely love this one.
T218 Jack Johnson - Pretty popular boxing set, so the Johnsons get high prices
1948 Leaf Joe Louis - This whole set is pretty fantastic if you like Leaf’s super bold color approach. Joe has a higher pop, but that’s relative – only 348 graded by PSA!

**Another card to my collection: Prince Naseem’s 1997 Sported! Magazine-Hand Cut ~

There’s only two of these on PSA’s census, and an other being a single perforated version.**
