Found this in one of the shops that I frequent. Looks like around 500 sealed entei promos. I wanted to know if this sorta thing is really rare or not so. As always I appreciate your help!

I wouldnt call it rare but its getting rarer to find. Its nice, thats for sure!

Not rare at all it’s a very common card but for the right price I would pick them up if I was in your situation
They are asking 2k for the box. So around 3.75-4 a card. With around 90% in good shape. Just a lot thats all

So if you wanted to grind it out selling one by one or something like 3 pack lots, you could make a few dollars on each card probably after taxes/shipping expenses. But you’d have your work cut out for you probably over a very long period of time to liquidate that many, and its always a risk if the card price reduces over time. Though personally I don’t see the sealed packs dropping much under $10, its a nice budget friendly kind of card for anyone to collect.
Great points @pizzachu, thats the main hurdle for me. Which is also compounded by my lack luster ebay and tcgplayer pages. I would agree with your opinion that these wont be dropping below 10 and present a nice affordable card.
TCA-Gaming buys WOTC promos in bulk, so he would most likely be one of the few people interested in the box.

5 Years ago you got this card everywhere. A Few Seller had huge amounts of it. Beautiful card but never underestimate how many are out there if you want to make the deal.
They sold in a bulk of hundred or thousands since they had so many, good Chance they have Boxes too.
