I had a buyer purchase a $600 item, and then violate just about every ebay policy in the book. They bought an item, didn’t pay, complained about shipping, and told me to check my instagram so they could avoid ebay and customs duties.
They wanted to do the deal off ebay (against policy)
They also wanted me to sell the card for less (against policy) and under-declare their package with the lowest shipping option, ie I absorb all the risk.
I didn’t do any of this and cancelled the order.
Since then they have nonstop threatened negative feedback (also against ebay policy). I shared their ig message and they immediately changed their ig account information and sent lovely messages like this:
This is part of the reason I feel like I could never be a big seller, I would want to punch through my monitor. I would understand dealing with this from time to time, but I am sure you get this more often then not.
The idea of someone making every garbage decision you could make as a buyer and then expecting YOU to apologize for the consequences is kind of hilarious. Still sorry this is happening to you though. I rarely sell but I blocked them anyways.
Idk, there is a lot of potential for some insincere, funny apologizing to be had. Something like “your birth certificate is an apology from me and your mom”
Some say the male equivalent of Karen is "Chad."Overall, this guy is a nasty piece of work. It is really sad that he is actually waiting for an apology…he needs another hobby.
So he first tells you to check your IG, then asks to do business off eBay, then says that wasn’t him? How gullible does he think you are? Why does he feel so entitled?
