Yea thats what I as thinking hah especially due to it being a 9 and newer set! There are exceptions of course but generally 9s and under xy and above not worth paying loads imo
There are quite a few cards that will sell for over $50 from BW/XY era in a 9.
The biggest thing to know with selling modern PSA 9s is that you have to have it BIN.
Auction prices on cards like these rarely sell very high. Hell, even psa 10s can go for
very cheap.
Also, if you do still plan on listing new BW/XY era in auction listings, don’t put them alongside WOTC cards with similar time frames. Most bidders will be so focused on the WOTC cards they do not prioritize winning the newer sets, making them sell for significantly less.
Well I don’t know if that is the right way to say it, but the fair market value on almost all of the XY-on full arts is below $30. Where what a card sells on auction at is a fair market price. Heck more recent sets you can get plenty PSA 10’s for that range at auction.
I definitely agree with buying at auction, selling BIN. What I’m trying to say, is I get that some people are willing to pay more, but they sit forever and 1 BIN doesn’t determine market value, whereas a legitimate auction with exposure (PWCC) gives a much better indication.
