Binder dents

Hi everyone,
Recently I heard about binder dents and it has got me a little worried.
I was wondering if you know which binders can cause these dents (and/or other damage in the long run).
Personally I recently transfered my collection to this binder:

I think this one should be okay, but will be happy to hear your thoughts

You’ll be fine with that binder. The binders that cause dents are the three ringed binders and the older binders that you had to snap close.

Binder dents are caused by overloaded 3 ring binders, the upper pages will slip over the rings when too full, you close the binder and press the page against the ring → binder dent

I used these same Ultra Pro Premium binders. I like them and don’t feel like there is much risk of them damaging cards. All of my cards are single sleeved in the binder so they don’t get scuffed going in and out.

As others mentioned, the classic “binder dent” is from a 3 ring binder. If you need to use a ring binder, D-rings are the way to go and don’t overfill the binder.

Thank you for reacting, guys. Good to hear that this one is fine.

wont have issues with a premium binder like that
