I have a different assortment of booster packs that were light packs I owned that I’m hoping to sell now. I wanted to check in with some more experienced sellers here as to what they think would be the best bet to sell these type of products at a solid price (either shows, a particular consignment, selling myself on eBay, etc).
Unfortunately it seems that the cosignments I’ve used before don’t take these type of slabs, and I’m inclined to not have to sell them on eBay myself if possible given I never done that before. I’d also prefer to sell them all at once if possible so long as it is terribly different price then selling them individually. Auction vs BIN doesn’t matter too much for me either
Hoping to get any thoughts on this and thanks in advance for any info
The price may be terribly different. There are simply more buyers who want one specific pack than a bunch. ZnG Emporium sells graded booster packs. I would use them, either in auction or as a Buy-it-Now.
He’s been selling booster packs as BINs and in auctions. It’s possible that they are from a massive backlog, but I would be shocked that it would take until October 2025 to list them in auction.
@jcincy101 Are you willing to take graded packs? OP is looking to consign.
The standard way to sell now is to form an entity, and then offer tokenized shares of each slab, and then use the shares as collateral to get loans while wearing 2 watches, it’s pretty simple
The packs you saw listed are likely consignments from loyal, long-time customers or perhaps his own personal items.
Alternatively, he may still accept a small number of particular items or offer a specialized consignment service discreetly to certain clients. This prevents the business from being completely overwhelmed with a flood of new submissions.
He actually mentioned in a video that he stopped accepting new graded packs because they take up too much space and are more difficult to package and ship. Given that he probably has a large inventory of custom-sized shipping boxes for standard graded cards, accepting packs would require him to stock different, bulkier boxes, which would consume valuable storage space.
