Price premium for reputable sellers

Hoping you all could give some input to my question. I want to consign some of my slabs with a large reputable consigner. How should I price the fixed price cards in your opinion? Should I price them as lowest list or by having a large reputable seller list them can I command a higher asking/sell price? What would you do? If you think a high feedback reputable seller can get a higher sell price, should I list them 2% over lowest list, 5, 10?

Thanks for any input. There’s no right answer but just looking for input

Depends how fast you want them sold

Assuming that these are relatively common slabs (multiple listed on eBay at a time, hundreds+ on the pop report), we are still in the era of last solds determining what people want to pay for things. I wouldn’t change much about what I’d ask for something based on it being on Z&G or whoever’s page.

As Wailmer mentioned, if you price competitively they’ll probably sell quickly, if you price on the high end of things, you’d need to wait longer.

If it’s an Umbreon/GS just list 150% last sale and you’ll be safe from stonk creep

Super liquid slabs with many listed. Customers would have their choice of store. Some customers may just go with lowest list if there is eBay authenticity, some may go with a store they trust. Now that I type this out I’m realizing that the authenticity guarantee may push more people to just go with lowest list.

I’m not considering how fast they’ll sell, but I’m wondering if consumers consistently are willing to pay more when purchasing from a reputable source.

If this forum is to be believed…the answer is no. People here buy from 0 feedback, outside of the country, with pictures that look like they were taken with Razr phones from 2003

That’s literally me when I started lol. We all fondly remember “pictures by vert”

I’ll sometimes pay more to buy from sellers I like, but usually only if that means they’ll get to me faster (like USA based vs Japan based) or if there is some more expensive card I want but I can bundle with a few cheaper ones. Or if they have sent me cute extras in the past, nice notes/doodles/stickers/etc

Otherwise I’m going with cheapest with a non-stock picture lol.

For BIN listings with authenticity guarantee I doubt using a large seller would result in a higher sale price. It’s possible it would move quicker though because it will get more eyeballs. Auctions are a different story
