Best bulk selling tactics?

As I thin out my collection I was curious about any tips you all may have for selling larger amounts of cards.

Is it better to pair cards by set? Individual Pokemon? Energy type? Or bulk rares/uncommons, etc?

I would do it by set. Also it never hurts to throw a $5 holo here and there and make a $10 tough to sell lot turn into an easy $20.

I do no duplicate lots by set and I have a lot of success with that.

Here’s an example of a lot I sold recently:

Bulk listings are an efficient way to get rid of inventory while ensuring a very likely sale. Only drawback is you won’t get as much money as you would individually. However, the slowness of selling individual low value cards should be weighed against how you value your time. For me bulk listings work best for my unlimited light play cards.

That’s kinda why I was leaning towards bulk lots. I have a rough idea of which individual cards could sell quickly but the rest, eh, I just wanna get rid of and make any extra money.

I feel like you gave these cards away or is the market that weak for fossil that you can’t get more than $2 a holo? That sounds like T&T buylist prices.

That was a pretty poor ending agreed. It’s not a big deal to me though because I buy binders, keep what i want, grade what I can, then sort by set and by condition. I typically don’t buy binders unless I can see a select few cards that themselves would make my money back. Then everything else from the binders, such as these fossil cards, are just profit.

I know I could get more, but that would take too much time. I put maybe 5-10 minutes total into each lot so it’s as quick as a pic, change title, change set category, list. The time it would take to make individual listings would make it not worth it for these cheap of cards.

This was a much better ending price:
