Your score: 76% (25 points out of 33) not too bad as I expected worse

Your score: 73% (24 points out of 33)
Could have been worse. I did notice that almost all the ones I didn’t knew and guessed were wrong…

As for languages, I counted in my head two times (including Japanese) to 9, saw the end result, counted again to 9, and only then realized I had skipped Dutch… And I’m Dutch myself!.. :unamused:

Btw, you have counted the Base 2 Decks, but not the Base 2 Pikachu? I had the Pikachu question correct (31) - even though I counted 30, but I hadn’t included Base 2…

Here are all the Pikachus I counted in my head:

  1. Regular English (US) unlimited edition
  2. English Shadowless 1st edition Red Cheeks
  3. English Shadowless non-1st edition Red Cheeks
  4. English Shadowless 1st edition Yellow Cheeks
  5. English Shadowless non-1st edition
  6. English (Australian) PokéTour1999 stamped
  7. English Red Cheeks E3 stamped
  8. English Yellow Cheeks E3 stamped
  9. Korean Pikachu World Collection 2000 set
  10. English (UK) 4th print ©1999-2000
  11. Japanese No Rarity
  12. Japanese Base
  13. Dutch 1st edition
  14. Dutch unlimited edition
  15. German 1st edition
  16. German unlimited edition
  17. French 1st edition
  18. French unlimited edition
  19. Italian 1st edition
  20. Italian unlimited edition
  21. Spanish (Latin American) 1st edition ©1999
  22. Spanish (European) 1st edition ©1999-2000
  23. Spanish (Latin American) unlimited edition ©1999
  24. Spanish (European) unlimited edition ©1999-2000
  25. Portuguese 1st edition
  26. Portuguese unlimited edition
  27. Korean 1st edition
  28. Korean unlimited edition
  29. Chinese 1st edition
  30. Chinese unlimited edition

Not sure if I had to include it (which is why I answered 31 since 30 wasn’t an option):

  • English Shadowless non-1st edition Yellow Cheeks from the Japanese CD Promo set (technically a reprint)

Not included:

  • English Ghost/Phantom 1st edition misprint (misprint)
  • English Grey 1st edition stamp Yellow Cheeks (misprint)
  • Japanese Bulbasaur Intro Pack (technically a reprint)
  • Japanese Totodile Intro Pack (technically a reprint)
  • English Base Set 2 (technically a reprint)
  • None of the rare misprints (misprints)
  • None of the autographed cards (other)
  • None of the CP6 / XY Evolutions (reprints)
  • Not the Solid Gold one (reprint)
  • Not the Jumbo one (jumbo)
For anyone not knowing the differences I can refer to my Base Pikachu Artwork article.

Nice quiz though. I barely had any question good regarding attacks or descriptions, but I had all the set number questions correct (mainly by looking at the alphabet  ).

Greetz,
Quuador

PS: Sorry for the wall of text… Again…

Base Set Master Test

Your score: 85% (28 points out of 33)

70% pretty happy with that considering i’m no pikachu aficianado (answer worth 6 points). Btw thanks @fritz for setting this p. would love to see more TCG quizzes pop up or even ones related to the show!

I can still graduate

Your score: 70% (23 points out of 33)

I got 91% and 3 wrong. For a couple of the questions I did guess and luckily got them right. I got charizards attack wrong cos I’m a dope, guessed the languages printed and got it wrong and finally the worst one is I read the first answer for what card was printed in Base as pidgeotto not pidgeot and so didn’t reat the other 3 answers as I thought it was a no brainer :slightly_frowning_face: other question I guessed was the pika one and I can’t remember any others. Should have got all apart from that pika question realistically so I guess I’m around the right score.

Edit: went back to the quiz to check the others I guessed and they were when charizard’s wing colour changed and if magnetite was on the Base set box in jp.

28/33 . . . You should revise 22 though, as Trainer Deck A Machamp does not include the 1st edition stamp (marked wrong).

You’re right. machamp doesnt have a 1st edition stamp but there is another answer that is more correct.
