Sachiko Adachi

My very first ex era card I bought from a friend. Totally love it. Expanded my admiration for the artist from there.

Very hard to decide, I like all of their art. Waiting patiently for a Miki Kudo Pikachu

It’s almost impossible to pick up a favourite from all the perfect ones but i think i stare this one too often not to choose it

I’ve recently discovered Kamonabe as an artist and absolutely love their art. I think I prefer their art outside of the TCG but this is my favorite so far.

In more recent years I discovered Masako Tomii. Their Gloom from Obsidian Flames is one of my favourite artworks.

Be glad that 3 works out, the only other options were 5 or 6.

I’m not an illustrator collector, but nonetheless:

My favorite two TCG artworks of my favorite two illustrators:

Naoyo Kimura:

Mizue:

These two illustrators will always be numbers 1 and 2 for me. Both of them have made so many artworks I like, including my two most favorite TCG artworks of all time above.

My third place illustrator switches pretty often, so I’ll just pick my favorite TCG artwork of loads of amazing illustrators in no particular order (yes, ik, the idea was to only post a single card of your favorite illustrator.. :squinting_face_with_tongue: ):

Mitsuhiro Arita:

Jiro Sasumo:

Sanosuke Sakuma:

Nurikabe:

Kagemaru Himeno:

Wataru Kawahara:

kawayoo:

Makakazu Fukuda:

TOKIYA:

Kouki Saitou:

Naoki Saito:

Sumiyoshi Kizuki:

Souichirou Gunjima:

Hitoshi Ariga:

I like these equally as much, so I couldn’t pick a favorite:

Shiburingaru:

Shinji Higuchi:

Katsunori Sato:

Ryota Murayama:

rika:

kodama:

Kanako Eo:

I got a bit carried away, haha. Maybe I should just continue until I’ve posted my favorite TCG artwork of every illustrator.
And I’m likely forgetting dozens of amazing illustrators tbh.. There just are too many that I love.

Greetz,
Quuador

It’s REALLY hard to pick just one. So here’s two so my favorite Pokemon doesn’t cloud my judgement. I could pick like another 5 lol.

I will choose a couple of cards from my favourite artist Ryo Ueda. Their body of work and also their influence on the ex era is well known. The poses of the Pokemon are so dynamic in his illustrations. I personally wanted to showcase 2 stadium cards which are a bit unlike his other work. Really a brilliant artist and also pretty slept on when discussing some all time greats among Pokemon Illustrators.

Cheers!

Here’s my favorite illustration from my favorite artists. Kimura, Sugimori, Arita and Nishida were VERY hard to pick a favorite.

I don’t know how to add these handy images like the rest of you do so I settled for this:
