I met a ex-WOTC employee a week ago and witnessed cases on cases of legendary collection and other WOTC sets as well as hundreds of Staff Worlds Cards. There is still a large supply out there.

see this is a legit answer, and I hope this stays like this for a long time because I dont want my collection to be worthless one day because some factory finds out how to perfectly reprint

yes , this is what im talking about, it seems endless. thats 365 boxes per year just form one channel. like how many were really printed in 1999… so suspicious , trust me guys I dont want to believe it also but its just getting more obvious
every store owner who I have talked to whos been at it for a long time has said sealed wotc is nearly un-investable. Theres so much out there
well noone knows the number is the thing, and the 1st edition base set was very limited but 2 big youtubers just opened 40 packs + this week, PokeRev and Leonheart
well even if this is true bro, with the ammount being opened daily its not going to last very long unless they are reprinting
I don’t understand the equation between “lots of packs are being opened” and “these packs must all be fake.” In fact, a large amount of pack openings suggests there is no issue with fake cards, because large sellers/streamers are still able to source a significant amount of legit vintage, and are confident enough in authenticity to break it live. As vintage sealed prices have come down significantly since the 2020-21 boom, box breaks make a lot more financial sense now.
I have never seen a fake card that stands up to more than cursory examination by someone with intermediate knowledge of the hobby. If you’re somehow saying that all this new supply is because someone has now managed to perfectly replicate vintage cards and everyone and their dog are getting scammed because of it, that requires much more proof than just “the vibes are off man.”
As others have pointed out, fake boxes (designed to withstand scrutiny as a sealed collectible but immediately become revealed as fake once opened) are another thing entirely, but that is not what this thread is about.

Because its pretty much fact that they printed a crap ton. And whatnot streamers pay top dollar for boxes because their buyers are happy to pay 150% market for packs so they get all the sealed
I think they are reprinting 100%, even the boxes look brand new

the fact that you know how many are being opened daily and you still dont think its possible they are being reprinted blows my mind, like ya bro they printed millions in 1999 , every single day that number gets less and less and this has been going on since 2020 opening on camera/streams/youtube/whatnot
