Are these fake + World Champ cards

UU and Scott are right - under the Trade Descriptions Act, and general contract law you did your bit correctly. Caveat Emptor (buyer beware) applies under both UK and US law.

So the buyer doesn’t really have a leg to stand on. So enjoy your little windfall. You made a lot more than the fair price, but as Scott said, life’s trial and error sometimes!

Thanks for advice.

I’m pretty sure the buyer would have got them today and hasn’t been in touch so I guess he’s happy with them which is the main thing.

I bought 1st Edition Shining Gyarados with the money from the sale in ‘mint’ condition ;D

Wow. You’re buying all the cards I want!

One day I’ll be begging you to sell to me

LOL :stuck_out_tongue: what other one’s have I bought which you will be adding to your collection?

I seen 1st ED Shining Gyarados on bidding so made sure I won it as I haven’t seen it on before (not that I’ve looked for it often) but seems rare to see either way.

Ended up paying £33 for Gyarados…

I also got Shining Magikarp from the same seller for £6 but not 1st ED :slightly_frowning_face:

See until a couple óf months ago I just assumed set collecting is nice and all but cards are dead cheap. How wrong I was. I was thinking I’d be able to pick up sets left right and centre when I wanted to, so am now desperately trying to find as many cards as possible.

So I guess all the Crystal and Shining cards. Which are so expensive!

Crystal and Shining cards are prob my fav! I also like gold star cards.

Did I ever tell you I have a mint 1st ED Shining Charizard and 1st ED Shining Noctowl? I’m hoping to get all 8 triple star Shining cards in 1st ED.

Eventually I hope to get 30+ cards PSA graded, I’m positive the shining charizard will get 9 or 10, it’s flawless (from what I can tell) but I bet PSA are very strict with ratings.

Noooooooooooooooooo

why not go for the entire sets? you obviously wouldn’t want to PSA grade the entire lot. I mean yes PSA grading is great for protecting your cards, but apart from that its not really worth it.

Some people pay a premium for PSA graded cards but
