Hi ! First of all i’m sorry for the bad quality pic.
I’ve been looking to buy a theme deck recently from the EX era. An Ex delta species one in particular.
I did find a seller who’s got some decks for sale and can’t figure out if they’re legit or not, they seem to be in very good condition and i must admit that i have no idea to recognize a fake one and i don’t even know if fake theme decks were ever made in first place.
Moreover the seller does not have a lot of sales (25) i know it’s not nothing but i have trust issues when it comes to old items.
If anyone has some knowledge they’re willing to share, i’ll be more than glad to read it !
I’ll post the picture the seller sent me, it’s the only one i have and the quality is really not good..
One blurry picture isnt really a good way to determine authenticity for most things.
Based on the picture they do seem to be authentic or at least dont have any immediate red flags. The seals would need to be inspected around the top, bottom, and back but there is nothing in these decks that would usually be worth convincingly resealing.
Awesome that you found a bundle of italian ex era decks! Italian isnt my usual area of collecting but im jealous anyways of such great decks
I also see a couple decks with a double price, Italian Lira [L.] and euro [E] which is an incredibly niche detail to fake honestly. That’s how things were sold here in the early 2000.

I kind of only buy sealed stuff in italian (Mainly because they’re cheaper ahah)
And yup, i’m surprised the guy has that much decks, that’s part of why i got concerned in the first place.
