Are all 1st Ed. Dark Ampharos askew?

Feel like I’ve gone crazy then have come back around to sanity and now it’s the world that’s crazy.

The card in question is 1st Edition Dark Ampharos from Neo Destiny. A while ago I was looking at my collection and realized the holofoil was offset to the top and left, creating a narrow strip on the right side and bottom border which contained no foil. The Neo sets are infamous for their screwy holos so I just assumed I got a bad one, sold the card, and have been putting off picking up another one. But now that I am trying to pick up another one, every card I am seeing has the offset foil.

So I guess the obvious conclusion is that this card just sucks and they all look terrible. But before I resign myself to this truth, does anyone have any examples that don’t look like they came from amateur night at the print factory?

Just checked my Japanese Dark Amphy and it’s correctly aligned. It’s another dramatic victory for Japanese collectors. We thought we won at the borders but our success goes all the way to the holo

Although maybe it’s fixed on the unlimited English, I can’t tell. Maybe put away the champagne

It is correct on the unlimited print, which does not count because I don’t collect unlimited. Only what I collect matters!! Grr!!

It does introduce a hypothetical grail for fans of the card: The Perfect Print™. Does it even exist? Is it out there to be had? Many have gone mad searching. Many have gone searching and never come back. But no matter what the answer is, the truth is out there somewhere. We have a moral duty to the truth. I will go to the ends of the earth to find it.

It’s probably offset a bit on the actual digital template, in which case it would take a slight printing offset to fix it

But did a revised digital template ever happen @pkmnflyingmaster? hmmm. All about the shiftiest shift of paper to make it.
