Anyone else think this is odd?

Above is a link to an ebay listing for a 1st edition base set blastoise.

Tell me the photo’s don’t look different from the main photo scan. Total different centering, am i right?!

I’m in the market to buy some 1st edition shadowless and this one notified me it was ending soon…now im thinking I need to pass.

Especially with 0 feedback.

Just looking for back up!

Thanks

Stamp almost looks fake, pic is a little blurry for me to zoom in and see it well though.

I think the scan is a stock photo. If they have that quality scanner they could scan the back. The sleeve is different in the second pic as well. It doesn’t look fake but it’s probably in crap condition and if you’re in the market I’d avoid or buy a graded one

If you google image search “1st edition blastoise” the same image comes up as the first result for me (troll and toad)www.trollandtoad.com/pokemon/base-set-1st-edition-singles/blastoise-2-102-holo-rare-1st-edition/1067871
That doesn’t mean this is necessarily a scam, they just stole the image and obviously that first photo is not the same card you will receive

Well he said it’s well taken care of and at the very least an 8 so obviously it’s an easy purchase from me

Must be a stock random image from google.

Well, 1st edition base will be a never-ending market, so if the seller didn’t give you enough confidence to make a purchase/bid, I promise you - there will always be another opportunity to find another 1st edition base from someone with better feedback (and better pictures).

In this listing the guy used 3 different photos from three different backgrounds, what a hardcore seller! If it was me selling on a whim, I would go to the bathroom - turn on the lights, take the photos in one go and call it goooood
