I’ve actually been helping people in America purchase Amiibos. Australia’s stock is ridiculously good - I recently got Mr. Game and Watch for a friend :stuck_out_tongue:

If anyone wants some, lemme know~

The reports weren’t kidding. Tuesday morning, my Best Buy got in 30+ copies of like a dozen different Amiibos, including rare ones, like Captain Falcon and Dark Pit, and Amiibos that used to be exclusive to other stores, like Shulk and Greninja. (Target’s exclusives Rosalina and Jigglypuff weren’t among these… so much for my dreams! :sob: ) I picked up Little Mac and Lucario to bring my Amiibo collection up to this:

Other than Jigglypuff, I think these are the only Amiibos I really want out of the current ones available. I might go for Yarn Yoshi too when he comes out because it’s freaking adorable.

Ah… I want to bring my amiibos out and display them throughout our apartment… but my partner will not let me lol >.<

I am only missing the fireball Mario, and original super smash peach now. >.<

Will not let you? I dont understand what that means??? My wife would gladly not give a shit, or she would absolutely love it! Why dont you have either of these outcomes?

It was tempting, but I’m kinda glad that I never picked up a single Amiibo cause I know that with my personality that I would’ve had to get every single one out there. I call it the “gotta catch’em all” syndrome, and we all know which franchise would be to blame for my… condition.

Lots of effort and money saved… to be invested elsewhere. -looks at binder collection-)

Props to all of you guys though, very impressive displays you got going on!

Oh… it will upset the modern furniture scheme we got going on, and will look too nerdy to her friends who would visit. Plus its a rental, so we don’t want to be placing our stuff throughout the living room when there is other people living here.

Buy a nice modern glass display case!

Depends on the country you live in. In Australia, it wouldn’t be hard at all for me to get them all.

4-5 months ago it was near impossible! it wasn’t until recently, Nintendo have boosted old stock numbers here. But many stores are still sold out of some of the figures here in Perth. Maybe Sydney or Melbourne is different.

I live in a regional town, actually :open_mouth:! We have always had tons of stock up here, though some of it sells pretty quickly.

Do you guys think that you have to have the japanese R.O.B to have a complete collection( Because of the different colors) ? Or do you think you have to have a R.O.B ?

Got this vicious bastehd today.

Surprised when I saw in the store.

A comic book store I have been going to for almost 40 years made a Facebook post indicating they got a collection in. I got Greninja for $17 and Lucario for $16. And I used a discount card got 20% off, so Greninja for $13.60 and Lucario for $12.80. I am happy with those prices.

My younger cousin has the Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked membership. He gets 20% off games. He pays $10 for amiibo. Sometimes $8 when theyre on sale.

If you guys don’t care about the boxes being different, AmiAmi actually seems to be well stocked on some harder to find amiibos, the only difference being that they are the japanese release. Everything about the figures themselves is the same and it’s not like they’re region locked either; my friend recently ordered a bunch and couldn’t be happier with them.
