After answering the first question, I realized I wasn’t able to answer any of the other questions despite them being required. 
I’m one of the few people here who has never played any of the Pokémon games in my life..

I wish you success in your school project. Based on the questions I seems very interesting and I hope you do really well and get some good feedback.
Sadly like @Quuador my only exposure to Pokemon games was via emulators and ROM hacks back in the day and I have not played any of the mainline games in recent years.
