Thanks for the last pack !

As I have written in my message, I am almost certain that the pack in the middle contains the three legendary birds.

Now it lack the first pack :blush:

Alright so this is my hesitant conclusion:

Hereā€™s my logic:

So the far right pack contains Ho-Oh ex at least, based on this picture but this picture of the same pack makes me think there are more cards in the pack. Since Ho-Oh ex, Lugia ex, and Jirachi ex are all the 4th Season Subscription promos, I would assume all 3 are gonna be in that pack. To make things more confusing, I feel like Iā€™ve seen sealed Lugiaā€™s on Y!J before.

The pack in the middle is gonna have the 3 birds (Articuno ex, Moltres ex, Zapdos ex). My logic for this was that you can see the tip of the fire energy on the card, so itā€™s either gonna be Ho-Oh ex or Moltres ex, but letā€™s go with it being Moltres ex seeing as we have proof otherwise for Ho-Oh ex.

The far left pack is tricky. It really could be anything. Although unlikely, I actually have a really strong feeling itā€™s the ____'s Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and energies.

I am 99% certain the left pack is _______'s Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi as @daelum explained.

Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are sealed in a folded piece of plastic with tape. I bought one of these awhile ago and the seller insisted that old promos were sealed in that fashion. But then I saw another sealed set on Y!J auctions which confirms the idea.

Okay for the third pack.

Here is the evidence that the second pack contains at least Moltres.

For the first pack, it can not be Regi ex trio as explained pokephd (maybe an evidence here, the cards look like sealed in a folded piece of plastic (with tape)).
On this picture, the first pack seems to contain more than 3 cards (I donā€™t know if it is a visual effect), so maybe you are right Daleum and it is the ____'s Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and energies.

(for information, I have bought the 3 sealed packs on YJA at least we will know ā€¦)

Look what I have found on closed search of YJA :

It is weird that these packs contain so many cards, maybe the seller added some cards (?) ā€¦

EDIT : According to the content of the first and third packs, I think the second pack could contain at least : Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres + __'s Mew, __'s Celebi, _s Jirachi :blush:

I strongly believe that the seller added cards to those listings. It makes no sense for the Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza to be featured in more than one pack, let alone in a pack with cards released a whole season earlier/later.

As for the second pack, I doubt that it would contain the 3 birds as well as the 3 ____'s cards. Bulbapedia lists the 3 birds as the gift for new members in the 2nd season, while it lists the 3 _____'s cards and the 3 energies as the gift for continuing members of the 2nd season.
It is possible that the continuing members got the 3 birds in their packs as well, just as an extra bonus gift, but that doesnā€™t really seem like something I could see coming from the Japanese Pokemon world.

And just to explain my likely/could be/unlikely choices for the left pack, I chose based on availability in the market. So seeing as the _____'s Mew is much rarer compared to the Regi ex set, I was thinking itā€™s better to assume you have the more common pack. But, like @soulwind pointed out, the Regi ex set come in a different style wrapper.
This leaves either the Mew/Celebi/Jirachi set or the Kyo/Gro/Ray set. Like we already discussed, the pack seems pretty big which would make sense if it had the energies that come with the Mew/Celeb/Jirachi set, but we donā€™t know for sure.

Iā€™m gonna store these images matched with their contents. Hopefully sometime soon we can get a confirmed pack face for one or (well hopefully both) two different ____'s sets. Iā€™m pretty sure each one is gonna be different (the Ho-Oh/Lugia Season 4 pack is different than the left pack (which is either Season 2 or 3)).

I just bought a couple of these. The ones I got are the ones that have Articuno and the gang, and Lugia and his pals. I will probably open them for the sake of scientific research :blush:

Iā€™m currently in search of play promos worth 8+ on psa scale, these look like the answer to my question as I didnā€™t know they came in sets and thought they were all given individually :blush: roughly how much have you paid per pack and are they all from yahoo?

Those packs are gonna get pretty expensive if you want any with a Mew card in it. I paid under $20 for my Regi set on Y!J, but Iā€™ve seen sealed Mew packs go for $80-$200 on eBay AND Y!J.

yeah, I got my regiā€™s pack for about the same before I opened it for gradingā€¦the packs I got were from noodles on ebay and I best offered him 125 for each and he accepted.
