Hawaii Worlds (smaller convention center) partially explains the higher than usual Championship Points requirement for competitors to qualify for the event. Might even have vibes similar to 2018 or earlier events.

Wow, is the qualification CP really or even partially based on the size of the venue? It is pretty interesting. I usually though it was more to do with shift in the way the game was played or post 2018, due to Covid. Do you think they are simply reverting to the scheme they had pre-Covid times?

Random question but when is the best time to book airfare? Do you get cheaper prices on certain days/times, or does it not matter and booking a year in advance is better then 6 months?

This got bumped and I was hoping dates were announced 
I’m curious why dates weren’t announced on Pokemon Day, it seems like in the past they’ve been available by then, or sooner?
Have they been announced in March- or later before?
In the previous worlds at Hawaii, were they always at the Honolulu Convention Center?
Additionally, I googled the Made in Hawaii Festival and it seems to be a real thing. How can those dates be for Pokemon??
I think what @mthursty was implying was those dates can’t be the weekend for Pokemon since the CC will be booked.
And the 3 previous worlds in Hawaii were on the big island, this will be the first in Honolulu.
