2016 Team Rocket Special Case Promos

To all those who had or currently own copies of these promo cards, may I ask if these commonly had print lines on them? Or are print lines uncommon for these promos?

If so, did they grade well?

I’ve never seen a Giovanni’s Scheme graded lower than a PSA 9 lol

I have mine in the PWCC Vault and checked to see if they had print lines. The Giovanni didn’t have any that I could see, but the Team Rocket looks like it may have one at the bottom above the illustrator. They are both PSA 10.

I’ve taken a look at both my PSA-10 copies. The Team Rocket doesn’t contain any print lines, but my Giovanni indeed contains a single horizontal print line almost right in the middle. You really have to look at an angle in the light to see it however, and I honestly never noticed it before you made this thread. It’s defintely not as apparent as WotC holofoil print lines or ex era prints lines for example. It kinda reminds me of the print lines of the 25th Anniversary Collection Mirror Reverse Holo cards (in Japanese/Korean/Thai/Indonesian), for which the pattern sometimes misaligns. The print line thickness is similar on my Giovanni, except that nothing is misaligned since the holofoil is flat without any pattern, unlike the squares on the 25th Anniversary Mirror Reverse Holos.

My Giovanni doesn’t really have a print line in the traditional sense, but similar to what Quuador said above there is a vertical line where the holo is sort of mismatched and not continuous.

Seems the Giovanni is more commonly affected. Mine also has a barely visible horizontal print line (PSA 10)

None on my team rocket though

My Giovanni is pretty much perfect besides the same horizontal line. CGC
Have it an 8 for that reason and I don’t really wanna pay to send to psa as it isn’t for sale

The quality on those cards is great. I have the complete set.
The ones I have are raw, but I’m pretty certain they’ll grade a 10 with PSA.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to grade them.
