Hey guys,
Just wanted to check in and see if anyone has noticed the POP for the '04 Japanese World Promos? Is this accurate? It’s hard to believe that there were 300+ sets given out at that year’s worlds and only 8 are graded with a POP 3 for PSA 9/10. I recently picked up a mint full binder set from a competitor and can’t decide if it’s best to keep them in the original binder or just shell out the $ to get the set graded.
Thoughts?

A lot of Japanese cards were traded away to the Japanese players during the event.

I’m guessing that’s a good reason. I’m going to get the set graded as there are some strong 9s and possible 10s. Just really surprised the pop report is so low on these. Would you think most people keep them “sealed” in the binder they were given?

Many were traded during the event. Japanese players were trying to get several in Japanese.
We kept ours in a binder all 9 cards together, I would assume more people kept them that way. But I really don’t know.

When PSA opens 'normal" grading services again I might get my own set graded.
