I received a complete 2000 Banpresto Pikachu’s Great Surfing Adventure Prize Set.
The 36 regular cards (not the 6 prize cards) have never been used in the arcade machine, as I received the set directly from someone who had opened the machine themselves. Therefore, these 36 cards are in near mint to mint condition. The 6 prize cards are also in very good condition, approximately near mint to mint.

Is this actually considered a “Master Set” of a Banpresto prize pool?
For the year 2000 I assume yes, I recently learned there’s a 2002 set as well (at least for the A-class licenses)
Is there a complete checklist available somewhere?
I haven’t been able to find one during my research sadly
Does anyone have comparable sales figures or valuations for individual cards or the set?
No recent sales numbers to report but I do remember seeing the regular cards a few times for $10-20. There are a few A-class licenses listed on eBay at the moment for $250, but none have sold yet. A few years ago a PSA 3 A-class license sold for about $350 which is the only public sale I know of outside of Japan. I’ve seen some sold for $30-150 on Mercari Japan but that was long ago as well.
For years I hadn’t seen a single one of these cards (outside of my own set of A-class licenses), but now it seems like some of them are coming to the surface! It’s a really cool set and deserves a bit more attention imo
