I was having similar issues. My computer is not the best, so here are a few things I tried.

1. Make sure the computer is plugged in. I guess that relieves a lot of load from the computer and so the games frame rate stabilizes and doesn’t lag anymore.

2. I went into the gallery from the main menu, before entering my file file. In there I was able to look at my photos and organize them. It won’t have the points listed or anything, but you will be able to choose photos and get the “Prt Sc” of the one you want to submit.

3. For some reason after I went into this gallery, I was able to access the “Pkmn Report” not sure if there is a connection between the two, but it worked.

4. Some levels had too much happening and froze the game for me, like when you drop the geodudes in order to take a photo of graveler, then sandslash pops up. The game immediately did what you described where sounds still happen, but controls and screen died. So maybe avoiding high graphical output is best if possible.

5. I saw Charizandrew mention about the cheat code to unlock every level, I’m assuming you tried that as well as the other things he mentioned for settings in the original post for this?

I hope this helps even a little, this is just the troubleshooting I did in my game till it worked. Probably pretty obvious as well, but patience it a virtue here too it seemed. give the game thinking time. I hope this didn’t sound too patronizing. If the screen freezes (#4), go to options → Configure graphics plugin and change Windowed resolution (don’t use full screen). This will change the size of the window and I noticed this helped “unfreeze” the screen. It’s not perfect, the screen can still freeze again but just change the size again and hopefully you can at least get through the level. I also got the feeling that it was less prone to freezing if I used a smaller window, but not sure

I agree, smaller screen was all I played in. Thanks for that other tip too.

@azulryu Another thing you could try if the other tips aren’t working is a different Project 64 version. In the first post the version 1.6 is recommended, but for me personally it kept freezing at certain points, and all snaps I took were completely messy. When I tried the latest version I had installed earlier before the version 1.6 was mentioned in the post (v2.3 I think) it worked fine.

I’m looking into how to set up voting. I want all the pictures displayed and each member gets to cast a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place vote. I’d prefer all votes remain anonymous until the voting is complete. I’m not sure the forum has these capabilities. Does anyone have an idea?

Easiest is probably posting the 20+ pictures, each with a number next to it (you could put them in a table like the one I did as example below). And then let people comment their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place numbers.

There is a poll option, but I’m not sure it allows for multiple answers. And you can’t use pictures inside the poll either.

Other than what was already mentioned, Is it possible to set up an anonymous google form with 3 questions to cast a vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd? I believe you can add a photo to each option and theres a variety of ways to vote- multiple choice for each respective placing, multiple choice grid, or typing in the number of the photo for each placing.

That’s a good question as a public vote could be flooded, but registered efour members only might be best to keep it fair.
