I purchased the 1st edition neo revelation set recently and I’m worried about these dark spots/bleeds surrounding the holo borders - is anyone familiar with bleeds like this? Also, do those with experience believe they will affect the PSA grade? I’m almost certain it is not damage because they contain the holographic’s within some of the bleed spots but not all. It’s subtle in photos and to the naked eye but easy to see on close inspection. The yellow borders stick out the most. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hopefully the pictures now show on the post above. They aren’t necessarily black spots as much as they look to be very subtle “oil bleeds” if that makes sense. Thanks for the info!
It’s just a light holo bleeding. I have something similar on the PSA 9 Delibird I have, very hard to capture on camera.
Hopefully that modified image shows the detail better. I have a hard time believing such light holo bleeding would affect the grade, but I’m not a PSA employee so I’m no authority. At the very least, these cards could get 9s if there’s no other issues.
That’s exactly what I’ve got going on with them. Thanks for the insight. They’re submitted to PSA so that gives me some peace of mind because they could potentially be 10s I think.
