Noticeable notices: Pikachu has a weird smudge if you zoom up on the 1st edition stamp. A of the cards have this smudge in the set (devolution spray aswell). Vulpix factory ink blotch on tail. Arcanine grey stamp.
I hope you enjoy the set. It is not for sale, although if you feel like sending a valuation, what you think i should do with it (grade some, keep as set?) or anything related then I am open for suggestions.

Do you perhaps have a close-up picture of the Pikachu stamp. Can’t really see the smudge you’re talking about in the current picture.
And just like @mthursty I’ve never seen the Vulpix with that blue stamp on a 1st edition version. I’ve seen it 10+ times on unlimited, but this is the first 1st edition I see it on.

I have a shitty camera so it’s hard to capture. It doesn’t like to focus up close.
Suggestions: Could you copy the Imgur link into your phone and zoom up ultra close on your phone? If you can’t please let me know and i’ll recapture for you.
I looked at the smudge under a magnifying glass (4x) and it’s definately there. I also noticed it on Electabuzz and Magnemite. Are these stamps common? I haven’t heard of them and no-one has ever mentioned ‘smudged’ 1st ed base.
Cool, I didn’t that error was a thing. I believe the card is pack fresh, would you know how to value it? Perhaps auction would be the way to go.
I can zoom in quite far, but it’s a bit too blurry to really tell what’s going on with the stamp. If I looked correctly, you mean some small black smudges (three if I looked correctly) at the inside of the “1”?
And I have seen some smudge 1st edition stamps before (although a lot more than the ones you have), like this one from @shizzlemetimbers :
And I know what you mean with not being able to zoom in properly with your camera… Mine has the same issue, especially when it’s pretty dark in my room in the evening.
Since I collection Pikachu cards, and I’m a sucker for the Base Pikachu (here is an article I wrote), I’m always interested in variations I don’t know about yet.
Thanks for the better pictures! Now I can see what you mean with smudge. Much more than I thought when I saw those original blurry pictures. I’ve seen these kind of smudges before I think, but not on Pikachu. I guess I can’t pursued you to sell the Pikachu to me? If not, let me know if you come across another one.
I could be interested in trading it for another rare pikachu from the base set. I like errors but this is one i could potentially let go of.
Now to be fair, this card is in mint condition. I think it has one little dot of white on the bottom but it’s very clean and unplayed. I value it quite highly with this smudge as it is unique and seemingly quite rare. A card to me is only worth what someone will pay for it. So tell me good sir, how much does this card cost to you?
