1999-2000 Base Set booster box UK print price indication!

Hi there!

At the moment I’ve one of these bad boys in my possession! I’m maybe looking to sell it but unfortunately I don’t know what price is suitable for the box. There are 2 1999-2000 booster boxen on eBay, gemmintpokemon has listed a UK print one (with a hole in the seal) for 9000 dollars and someone else listed a USA version of the box for 5000 dollars. There also was 1 UK print box that have sold like 1,5 month ago for around 2200 dollars, but it was in a pretty bad shape. So, I hope someone can make me a little wiser about what price is realistic for this box :blush: Sorry for my English, I’m working on it!

Maybe just but it on eBay and let people bid on it? I suppose it’ll get around it’s true price then?

Nah, bids go for a lot less in my experience.

Sometimes but rare and unique items are more dependable at auction.

I connected a guy and a girl selling one of these about a month ago. I believe they made a deal around $5,000 for it. This was off of eBay and it was the UK version.

What do the box markings look like that identify the 1999-2000 edition?

The curved Wizards of the Coast logo’s and on the back it says made in the UK.
