Your choice of binder?

For many years I’ve placed my complete sets in Ultimate Guard Zipfolios ( 360/480 slots ), side load pages keep cards in their place really well even when I totally understand complaints about how much work it is to rearrange everything.

@SouthernIslander

Can I ask where have you bought your Quadrows? Just checked all online stores/lgs I’ve used to buy Ultimate Guard products and all of them come with side load pages.

Oops, I just checked and the Quadrows are also side-loaded. Don’t know why I think it was top-loaded. ^^’

I bought them on eBay or the website of some LGS in Europe, if I remember correctly.

So after all this discussion I settled on the Bindertek that @stagecoach suggested, but alas they’re basically impossible to aquire here in Japan.

So now I’m wondering if it’s worth starting a Buy thread to see if someone coming to worlds can help bring a few over for me

If they’re readily available in the UK I can get them for you.
Just send a product link over.

Thanks! I don’t think shipping from the UK is going to be cheap though haha. Saying that, I might be back over Xmas so I’ll see if they sell them!

Alright if stock availability is all over the place you can send them to my house and we’ll make sure to meet up then anyways.
I’ve got a week off in December

BCW Z- Folio LX binders for life!

personally using various sorts of ultimate guard zipfolios as well as the ultra pro pro series pikachu binders. all sturdy and made with high quality plastic which doesn´t fog after 1 week of use.
have tried roughly 50 different ones, looking at my sad shelf of empty binders over here. these turned out to be my 2 favorite types.

i’ve been really impressed with my binder from manamoon! they’re a smaller shop that does tcg accessories (yu-gi-oh focus). assumedly they use binder blanks but i have no idea where from. zippered, all their products are anime adjacent, so no solid black binders or anything like that (looks like there is a gengar binder at the moment though). leatherbound with embroidery, suede panels on the cover insides, and replaceable pages. haven’t seen any indents/scratching/etc from the screws, they look to be short enough and the border spacing is enough that cards won’t hit it when flipping pages.

Just wondering for zipped, side loading binders, the pages themselves are thin, just wondering whether it’s possible for finger nail dents to occur on the backside of cards on the opposite page when you’re taking out or putting in cards.

Also, I have stored them and top loader binders upright instead of flat because it seems better to not have all the weight pressing down on each successive page. Though not sure whether the spine can take the weight of all the pages in the long run - if anyone has any experience with that?

I use Vault X binders. They come in many different colors, and they have special colorways for the main expansions (from Brilliant Stars to now)

For example, this colorway was released for the Scarlet & Violet base set

Also, you can get 10% off on binders since they partner with many influencers.

Can anyone please recommend a binder that meets one of 2 criteria?

Either see through fixed pages so you can see front and back of cards, or fits ultrapro 12 pocket platinum sleeves.

Thank you

I wouldn’t use a ring for a 12 pocket page. 9 pocket page is ok with ring binder if you are very careful

Thank you, they’re solely for particular cards I need to show front and back on.
Most of my stuff is in dragonshield but these are exceptions.

Mainly using Ultimate Guard Zipfolios in various shapes and colors, top quality and very sturdy - but probably too expensive to store 10k cards in them

Annoyed at myself for not getting the 12 pocket sv1. Now I can’t find it even at a silly price.

I really like vault x stuff, works well

same

They are doing a second run right now for the SV1 on their website.

It won’t have the limited edition inside the cover but I don’t mind that

Thanks for the info!

Hi, sorry I’d DM you, but I think I’m restricted since I just made this account.

I absolutely love the look of those binders and was hoping you’d be able to answer some questions.
-How many Ultra-pro sheets would you say fit in each of the 2"/3" binders respectively?
-Is the Light Grey one in your photos the 2" or 3"?
-Do you happen to know the name/brand of those black dividers? They look nice and sturdy and also seem wider than the Ultra-Pro sheets which is an issue I’ve had with other dividers not being wide enough.
-Did you buy these straight from Bindertek? Bindertek wants to charge me $18 just for standard shipping on a single binder/sleeve :grimacing: . Amazon/Staples have them, but with no sleeve unfortunately.
