WTB Neo Revelation Ho-oh Holo Bleed [bought]

Looking to buy a Neo Revelation Ho-oh Holo Bleed, the stronger bleed variant where it almost fully covers the wings.

I’m interested in any of these conditions:

Raw Ex-Mint condition (1st ed or unlimited)
PSA 7-10 1st ed
PSA 7-10 Unlimited

Willing to pay about 25% above current market price but I’m open to discussing it, just message me! Thanks!

Edit: Please see JoeR’s post below to know what they look like.

That’s a great card! Wish I could sell you the spare I had. I think I sold it for 120 in 2019. I bought the two in this video for 77 each. Skip to 1:45 to see both…

I have a psa 8 1st ed but Idk if it is the holo bleed kind

There was an auction with a PSA 8 one and a bunch of other great cards that ended surprisingly low recently. I saw it after it ended and wished I bid!

Yeah they’re great. Wish I’d bought back then too lol. That’s the reward you get for knowing about this kinda stuff early though

If it looks like the ones in the video posted above by JoeR then you have one. However it seems like some have more bleed than others and I’m looking for one where the holo bleeds over it’s wings too. If you think you have one to sell let me know!

Hmm interesting, I think the one I have is the standard holo pattern

@modestmudkip, It’s much less common in 1st edition, but possible. I recall missing a 1st edition psa 9 copy a while back and that’s why I switched to hunting the unlimited ones. I got that pair within 1 day of each other. It was crazy!
The holobleed for ho-oh is really obvious as the whole bird is covered over basically. I should do a better quality video some time.

I’ve sold 1st ed 9s for $500+ 2 years ago. 1st ed is significantly more rare. I will/have been immediately buying any 1st ed Ho-oh under $250.

For unlimited $75 is a good price for an 8. They’ll go above $150 to the right buyer. 9s are over $200.

At least one collector centers their collection on these variants. They’re great additions to any collection. Keep in mind 1st ed versions are prob 10x more rare than unlimiteds.

Okay thanks for the info. Am I right in thinking that some have more bleed than others? I saw your video with the 2 holo bleed Houndooms and one seems to have much more than the other? I’m assuming that’s the same with Ho-oh and it’s not just the fact people are taking photos from different angles or something.

@mimighster, This is true, but usually the big ones are pretty straight forward. I saw his video too, but usually it is easy to tell a bleed from a regular copy.

This was the one I was talking about, but looks like it was cancelled by the seller. Included a first edition PSA 8 holo bleed Ho-oh.

Thanks. Yeah looks like seller wasn’t happy with what it went for. I definitely would have bid.

This holo bleed blows my minds, one of my fav arts ho-oh neo holo

bump!

Did one (PSA 8 first edition) sell on eBay by GemMintPokémon?

I think so. Looking for a EU seller preferably though.

It sold for $500 fnf.

I don’t always like hopping in and critiquing price; especially when people are trying to build a collection. Since the card is being discussed, it’s only fair to provide clarity.

Wow, nice! (Weren’t you actually asking slightly less on eBay? Haha)

Wonder what a 9 would go for!

It’s fine, thanks for the info. I haven’t really put a solid price out there, just letting people know I’m interested if they want to contact me. With prices going crazy like they are and the 1st edition carrying a premium I’m not that surprised! Probably going to end up going for an unlimited as 1st editions don’t pop up too often here in the UK, yet alone holo bleeds
