For this card, it doesn’t matter the grade. It’s gonna be hella expensive. Just save up and pay good a good price.

If I snag this 9 at Heritage, I will be open to selling you my 4 copy. Be advised my 4 looks really good. It has a small crease in the back which gives it that grade but it’s only visible from certain angles

Just a heads up for anyone attempting to snatch this, you don’t have any protection if something goes wrong. There’s a reason why this card is not sold yet so be weary.

This site doesn’t allow you to purchase oversees, so you have to use a middleman. Now the issue is that none of the reputable middlemen like Buyee and Zenmarket will touch this site. So you gotta rely on the more shady & less professional ones. For a purchase of this size they’ll normally require you to use bank transfer or moneygram. If you get an item that’s not as described or fake they won’t refund you. Not to mention the middleman fee will be high and if they do use Paypal you gotta pay the fee for that too.
Edit: this site has it’s own middleman service and allows PayPal, but everything else may still apply.

And technically I don’t think you can pay with PayPal either.
I’m pretty sure it’s against the law for Japanese residents to receive an amount that’s over $10,000 internationally in one transaction.
EDIT: yeah, just tried paying with PayPal, and my payment was blocked for being too high.

Yeah the translated small print says large purchases need to be paid with bank wire.

Quick update on this I contacted both paypal and zen market and was able to get confirmation of he possibility of making the purchase using their service, I added all the necessary funds to zen market Using paypal in order to do so instantly and with some protection. I gave them my immediate approval to purchase however they took over a day (despite my multiple messages explaining the urgency) to make the purchase and someone local snatched this copy before I was able to do so.
In any case I am still on the hunt for my grail. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you @powolski for this tip that almost worked out. I really appreciate the help of the efour community and really look forward to adding this to my collection soon. Please dm if you are considering selling!

I’m really sorry to hear about this.
The person who recently purchased the Illustrator through Zen also had the $250k deposited into Zen and then for various reasons it ended up being an additional week before he could actually purchase the card. Fortunately for him he still got it.
It really is such a broken system. Sorry you got the worst of it.
