The Pokémon Collector card from HeartGold & SoulSilver was pretty popular around the 2010 and 2011 World Championships; it featured in 7 of the 8 winning decks in 2010 and 2011, but interestingly didn’t feature in a single winning deck from 2012 onwards. In my quest to be the very best, I have acquired 6 of the 7 World Championship deck versions of the cards. Alas, I am missing but one: the card from Mychael Bryan’s Happy Luck deck.
I want to be a Pokémon Collector collector, but my Pokémon Collector collection is one Pokémon Collector short.
The only listing on eBay which includes the Happy Luck deck right now is this $99.99 set of all 4 2010 decks. Unfortunately for me, I already own the other 2 2010 decks with Pokémon Collector in, and I’m not prepared to pay that much just for the sake of 1 relatively common card. I’ve already messaged the seller about selling the deck separately, but after 2 weeks I’ve had no response, so I can only assume I’m not going to get one from them.
(We can pretend that I didn’t forget to scan the card from the 2011 Reshiphlosion deck…)
Anyway… Ultimately I’m wanting to eventually get these sent off to PSA in the hope of a full set of PSA 10s, so I’d like to acquire the card in mint condition.
I’m wanting to either:
- Buy a sealed Happy Luck deck for $35 (or £26.99 - I’m in the UK!);
- Or buy the 4 Pokémon Collector cards from this deck for $12 (or £9.29).
Would prefer buying these directly from eBay if possible, but if not I can pay with PayPal.
