Option 2 assuming I could go somewhere to buy a bunch of sealed vintage for MSRP. $1.5 million is far more Pokémon than I would ever want but it’d be fun to open a bunch of old stuff.
I have way too many niche items now that that kind of money wouldn’t have changed anything given the access at the time. I’d go with the 1.5mil, get my last pieces, and then spend on duplicates and grading the duplicates for future sales towards non-pokemon expenses.
