1st even if I’m biased towards Shadowless, I’d rather buy a 1st Ed pack for like $1600 rather than 4 Shadowless at $400 each.
Even if you’re to keep the packs sealed you have to think about EV here. 1st Edition non holos can earn several hundreds in PSA 10 and that’s something I just don’t see happening for Shadowless cards. I would put EV on 1st Edition packs right around $1000-1200 and Shadowless maybe $200, so yes I do value Shadowless packs at less than 25% of 1st Edition.
