So a 10-rating user wanted one of my PSA slabs but I refused to lower my price so now he kept calling ny PSA slabs fake and messages me he’s written to eBay and chatting with them etc etc.
eBay reps obv don’t have the best knowledge of all products in the world so would they listen to some buyer saying my “products” are fake as they have been known to take buyers side most of the time and block my account or cancel my listings?
Nothing has ever happened to me to like this and I’m not a major seller so just looking for reassurances that im not being paranoid. Do I reach out to eBay myself and tell them about this?
I blocked him but he was still able to send me a message. So I’m hoping blocking works only when he tries to buy or something? Or maybe the block takes 5 mins to process or whatever. Anyways I stopped responding and I haven’t seen any further messages. Thanks for settling my mind
You can go to Account, Selling Preferences, Edit Blocked Buyer List. There will be a toggle for contact from blocked buyers near the bottom of the page.
Dude was from Italy. I have heard about a lot of scammers there. He first asked me for close up shots (PSA 10 card btw like 300$) I sent him. He then asked me for the back as well. I sent him. He then proceeds to tell me “your price is too high this should be 150-170 max so you’re suspect bb” . I mentioned I’m selling 70 slabs and you can check the numbers on PSA’s website itself and you can easily spot a fake and a real slab. He sends me a YouTube video (which I didn’t watch) about people faking slabs, called me an idiot and a scammer and mentioned he sent a message to eBay and that I’m a kid.
Pretty good eBay start to 2022 altogether
@fizzyadrenaline, I wouldn’t bother responding to messages. As long as you take good photos, they’re either going to buy it or not. I have not had a single purchase from anyone I ever sent additional photos to so stopped doing it long ago. Sales haven’t slowed down
lmao. Unfortunately when I try to list my items my shipping options only include domestic and worldwide. I can’t seem to cut out countries. Maybe eBay has lesser flexible options in my country (Netherlands) or is there a different way to ban a whole country?
