Why is Star Wars mentioned in Base set copyright?

I was flipping through some old 1999/2000 rulebooks from Base set. Inside some you can find a mail-in feedback survey. On the back the copyright details mention Star Wars. I was curious what that was about? They seem to have customized the survey for Pokemon and I have never seen Star Wars mentioned elsewhere.

From what I can tell, Wotc did Star Wars RPG/TCG/miniatures until 2010. So it was mentioned with the other things that Wotc did.

They produced a TCG in 2002. I suppose simply by having the text Star Wars in the survey they have to include copyright info. They must have been working on the Star Wars TCG way back in 2000.

I believe decipher Inc was responsible for the starwars ccg which slightly predated pokemon tcg, seems like an attempt to blend fandoms and gather info before wizards officially took over the distribution in 2001. (I’m not super well versed on this but that’s what I remember reading)
