Those overtime and weekend hours are starting to get to the workers.
Haha I collect Blastoise so these would never have been for sale or anything anyway. I plan to keep them as a pair recognizing the time period when PSA was swamped!

Yeah I agree. In my personal opinion both cards are solidly 8s. That’s what I expected to get on them as well.
Because of that I see this as a fun story behind a couple of cards in my Stoise collection!
At least the pop reports aren’t affected.
Way to go PSA dollar store workers!
Definitely unique enough to keep them as is. That’s pretty rare, I like it!

I had something happen like this recently as well. Both of my Crystal Ho-oh came back as reverse even though I had one of each. I had them hold the order and fix it before they shipped it back.

I do want to point out that I doubt this is the graders fault. From what I understand, they have a team that screens the cards and assigns their labels before or after the grading occurs. I’m almost positive they are assigned a serial number before a grader has even touched them.
This is true. It’s done in research, prior to grading.
