So I’m not really sure this has been talked about all too much, though I know it has been brought up in the past.
Today I opened 7 packs of burning shadows. all single booster packs with the cardboard outside, individually sealed.
To my dismay and bad luck I opened 7 non-holo cards. Pretty un-fun. These were all from target, and nothing seemed off about the packs.
What was even more frustrating to me is that when I went back and looked through the code cards I got, 4 of them were white vs 3 of them being green.
Now in my past experience when a code card is white it has basically always been a holo card, and when green a non-holo. Here I opened 4 packs of them with white code cards and no holo.
has this happened to anyone else before? I’ve heard of like the one odd out, but is this a problem with burning shadows individual packs?
White cards always contain non holo.
Green cards always contain holo or better. Did you get any FA SR/HR?
Green cards are slightly thicker and are different just to prevent pack weighting.
I rather have all cards being the same color, because honestly, I check check color of the code card. If white I pass the pack and it goes in the bulk bin =)
Did you read the post >__> all seven of them were non-holo. which is why I am saying there is a problem. I did not get a single holo of any type even though I got 4 white codes and 3 greens.
I’m almost positive too that here in the US the white cards have the holos.
Yeah white cards have the holos. It’s weird that you got packs like that but I’ve gotten packs with mixed up rev holo spots and such so maybe they just got sloppy at the factory?
I figure that yeah you can get sloppy at the factory, but the crazy thing to me is that they were all the individual cardboard blister packs. it’s a repeated error. I guess I can send an email to nintendo, but I doubt they would do anything to compensate haha. I was just wondering if anyone here had this happen to them multiple times like that
I semi read it correctly I think. I open so little sealed product that I mixed up colors aswell xD
Let me fix my earlier reply. Contact Nintendo, especially if you got photo proof about the wrong packaging.
They’ll ask you to send your cards to their office in the US or UK and will try to replace. But nothing certain, they will either fix the cards, no fix or your cards get lost. I’ve heard all three stories…
If you bought all packs at same time, quiet possible that that whole case been having this issue. Machine worker just forgot to slip in the foil sheet =)
