If youre being superstitious, might as well go all in and stick with jungle. The set has a vibe of life, growth, variety, abundance, mysterious, and beauty.
Rocket has too many villainous connotations. Negative, dark, anger, etc.
Fossil is in the middle with vibes relating to ancient, ferocious, wild, untamed, fierce, strength.

Or… open all three as a start to your child’s first binder.
Oh, and you should start searching for a big mint green plastic bowl and two pink spatulas for the younglings first Halloween costume.

After almost 100 votes the spread is remarkably similar, I’m surprised that the almost certainly light Rocket pack just about edges it though, I guess the unique commons and uncommons pulled a lot of weight for people!
After all that, I’m still undecided and I guess it will just come down to what I’m feeling at the time, I’ll be sure to post the results whichever one I go for.
Baby was born healthy a couple of weeks ago 
It’s hard to even find 30 minutes in the day to myself these days, but i did recently find the time to celebrate and go ahead and open - I went with the Fossil pack.
Cons
No holo
No smell (anyone else remember cards back in the day had a particular smell? The smell was long gone on these)
Pros
Opened the pack clean as a whistle so will hold onto it for some kind of display.
Got to really appreciate some cards that I’ve just glanced over 1000 times before -
Mr. Fuji, absolutely elite Sugimori art
Tentacool and Tentacruel, entire evolution line illustrated by Himemo and both using some kind of attack in their art. You ever realize that for a franchise about battling monsters, how unbelievably rare it is for them to actually be battling or attacking in their card art?
Zubat, love cards with multiple Pokémon on them and this must be one of the first examples.
I plan to grade the Haunter and Mr. Fuji as momentos and will also replace the cards in my Fossil binder set with these ones that I pulled myself. Tbh would not recommend at current prices, but for the $20 or w/e I was in on this pack, it was a good time 
congratulations on the healthy baby (and hopefully healthy wife)!! big sad on the “no smell” con, that was always the best part!! but i love that you got a clean open on the pack, i like saving the packs too best of luck with parenthood
