Do you eat meat now? Whats the difference between pokemon and animals we got now?

That’s a good question. I think people and Pokémon are much closer and have a deeper connection to one another than people and animals in reality. They seem more sentient and free thinking than most real animals. Eating Pokémon, even wild Pokémon would feel like I’d be eating a pet or a friend.
I do eat meat. But in an ideal fantasy world I’d like to imagine I could still eat beef, chicken, and fish while avoiding Pokémon the same way I avoid Cats, Dogs, etc.

In the PkMn universe, does all meat taste like Ditto, because Ditto can be a supliment for all meat? Would be cheaper to just raise ditto for consumption than lots of different types of meat, or perhaps, they’d have grades of meat that are certified, “non-ditto”…
If you want soup seasoning, I’d recommend Celebi.
Tastes like Onion, but probly a kitchen staple, like celery.
They’re still fresh tho… Fresh eggs are the best.
The best tasting meal is the one you trained yourself. I mean, prepared yourself.

Personally I think the following Pokémon would taste pretty good:
Obviously the slowpoke tail is a delicacy in the Johto region. I imagine they are pretty fatty like some good bacon. Yum
I’m thinking like the slowpoke tail, Celebi would also be a delicacy. Maybe roasted over a fire. I bet the meat would have an onion-y flavor.
Follow me on this. I feel like the Crystals in Starmies and Staryus can be candied and cut up and then eaten similar to jolly ranchers. Could definitely see people enjoying these as a treat.

Exeggcute are actually seeds, despite being the egg Pokemon. So in that case you could probably just eat them plain or maybe roasted.
