@D3F14NC3 @jabby thanks for voting so fast! I had to reset the poll to add IG
Please vote once more if you can!
Wheres tcgplayer
There are too many to remember
I’d like to add it now, but don’t want to reset the poll a second time
For everyone selecting other, where?
Tcgplayer, coolstuffinc, trollandtoad (previously, what tnt is now is hot poo) and cardmarket
Dang I also missed rare candy
I’m considering remaking this thread after we discover 18 more marketplaces
Quick before anyone else notices!
Usually: ebay and fanatics
Less frequently: cardmarket, vinted
In the past: websites (like T&T), card shows [I don’t like them anymore, too crowded, they have mainly modern]
Once: instagram [I don’t like it]
In order of frequency for graded cards:
On special occasions where I am putting together binders and don’t care much about condition, TCGPlayer / TCGPlayer Direct.
Most of my purchases have been ebay, then cardmarket, then mercari
Where I’ve been buying Pokémon products from on a weekly basis for the past 7.5+ years in order of most to least:
Where I buy Pokémon products from at least a few times each year (in no particular order):
Where I’ve bought Pokémon products from at least three times in the past (again in no particular order)
Less than three times (I think once each, or maybe twice I know I’ve bid more than once, but most of the time I’ve lost the auctions):
I’m probably forgetting websites I haven’t used in years, but I think these are most if not all of them.
Greetz,
Quuador
I’d recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried to visit any card shows that happen to be in your city.
Yea, there can be some scummy sellers but you can look up prices on the spot so you don’t get swindled. And being able to see the cards in person so you can be fully confident you’re happy with the card and its condition is the best aspect of card shows. Plus, I’ve found some decent deals, expensive cards below market price. And when you include no tax or shipping, it ends up being significantly cheaper than online. And you can usually haggle for a lower price, especially if you have cash.
Not to mention the ability to trade your unwanted cards for cards you want or just cash (again, avoid getting swindled by the scummy stalls though).
