tl;dr I know of PokeBeach and Twitter but are there any other good places to source news of promos from all countries (i.e. UK, Japan, Indonesia, China, Korea, etc.)?
Hi there - been collecting mainly Japanese promos for a while. Try to buy and then grade a few every year.
Starting last year, I started looking at other Country like China and Indonesia. The Chinese promos were too expensive for me so didn’t buy.
I bought a bunch of Indonesian Pikachu Promos a year ago since I liked the Batik shirt on them.
The way I usually find my promos was looking on eBay and stumbling on it after doing a few dives on pikachu promo search phrases. It’s not that efficient / great for finding upcoming promos. Is there a more efficient way to proactively find these promos?
I would say this forum and even the E4 discord does a good job for tracking all new promos. I think most of the news that get posted by @koala and other members on the forum informs you of all possible promo cards being released (atleast the special collaborations).
For the other generic promos, maybe Bulbapedia is the next best option. They do a very good job of tracking and having list of promos which are being released.

Apart from this forum, for Chinese releases PokéGuardian covers pretty much everything. For the other Asian languages, I’d recommend to regularly check the respective news section of the country on asia.pokemon-card.com (or pokemoncard.co.kr for South Korea).

If you can wrangle a Japanese ph number tenso isn’t to bad as a a middleman service.
And for China I personally just use their Taobao links but you can enter the page info onto Superbuy or any safe middle man service to achieve the same thing.
I have had pretty good success ordering Chinese promos from this store.
