When will you stop ?

Not that I am anywhere close to retirement, but I have always considered my personal collection as a small portion of my investment portfolio for retirement. Who knows if it’ll stay with me for that long, but I would like to think I could sell my collection when I retire - and along with my 401K and Stocks be set for the remainder of my life.

I’ve never really considered that long-term, but I cannot see myself holding my collection forever. There will come a day in the long-distant future where I decide to slowly sell-off my entire collection and inventory.

I think when all my friends stop probably. I enjoy collecting because of the stories, passion and history. If I didn’t have any of that… All I would be doing is buying cards :slightly_frowning_face: I could go to a Walmart for that. That being said, I know a lot of friends through the hobby now so I don’t think I’ll stop at any time!

Lol I basically hang out with 90-100 year olds all day. 60 seems so young to me

Idk tbh, 2 times I’ve stopped collecting and each time I was sure I wouldn’t get back into it.

60 is super young…

I’m on sort of a pause right now. Not stopped, but probably won’t be buying many cards anytime soon. They said buy a home you will love it… until it gets flooded.

I was just messing-around with Gary. Age is just a number - it’s all how you perceive yourself! But, I wouldn’t actually consider 60 as being old. Heck, my grandpa is 84 and he’s still able to kick my ass on the golf-course! LOL
