I’m super super happy about this one. With the help of a collector in Brazil, I picked up the last language I needed, Portuguese!! I now own the Advent Calendar Snorunt in every language (English, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese).
Something unique about the Portuguese promo is there’s a serial code of some sort on the back of the cellophane. Apparently this is on all sealed Portuguese promos.
I was hoping to grade every language raw and sealed but there’s holes on the back of the cellophane? This isn’t on any of the other Portuguese promos except for the Advent Calendar promos? A popular Brazil YouTuber recorded a video of himself opening the box and you can just barely see the same exact holes. I wanted to get them pack graded but I’m assuming PSA is going to consider it damage even though it’s on every single one. It’s frustrating so maybe I’ll just get them authenticated instead.
Here’s a closer look:
Regardless, I’m just happy to have the promos sealed in every language now
It goes without saying this is tied to be my favorite Snorunt card.

This will be the cheapest purchase to go in the collection. “Black Dot Error” CGC recognise it, I’ll probably just PSA authenticate it. £2 on eBay

Your love and dedication to a late-game ice type found in one location is one of my favorite journeys to watch unfold on this forum
I might pick this one up, that holo pattern looks gorgeous with the art.

I find it very satisfying to know we have a snorunt collector and a froslass collector.

I recently became aware of three ‘cosmos’ holo variants in the Pokémon Go set. You can get Snorlax, Pikachu and Blissey.
Grabbed the Blissey one from eBay this week. Very quick dispatch and arrived very well packaged and happy with the price
Will get the others soon to add to my Pokémon Go collection

Are you satisfied mix and matching languages on your first ed set?

I picked up a factory sealed master set of XY Flashfire on eBay lately, apparently only given out to the 2014 World Championship TCG 1-4 winners. Can’t wait to get my hands on them and post some pics

Well I was, but now that you mention it I may have to return them
Just joking!

The original ebay image looked like this. I guess I’ll need to figure out how much it’s actually worth next…

Nice. I completely agree on the Magikarp. I’ve been procrastinating on picking up a copy but this post made me pull the trigger. I’ve never heard of Brute Bonnet but I might have to grab one of those too.
