First Base Set holo I’ve bought!

One more Gym Leader down, only need Brock, Lt. Surge, Erika! Just need more people to grade them, pops are so low for the unlimited. Might make a buy thread to see if anybody has some minty raws.

I was looking through my binders today and realized that I had two of the holo quick starter Zapdos, but not the vending, so I picked this up.

Thanks man, it’s going to be more than welcome in my collection with the other squirtle :slightly_smiling_face:

Andrew had alot of awesome cards up for auction. I also had my eye on that psa 9 10th anniversary squirtle but I overslept that morning, luckily woke up just at the last minute for the vending series squirtle, popped a bid down and won it :joy:

Hope you picked up some other awesome cards.

Snagged this over the weekend. I have the other 2 and have been trying to lock one of these down.

Thankssss. What exactly do you mean my crisp, and the box or the cellophane? The wrap is like perfect in all 8, and 7 out of 8 of the box are still very pointy. The one that isn’t is just barely kinda pushed in

Sweet. Yeah crisp means sharp as opposed to dented or squashed corners. That price was already a steal but it’s insane for a 7/8 sealed copy.

Ohh yeah I was beyond stoked! The dude said he knew it was worth more but he just wanted to get rid of it quickly. So I just got super lucky with good timing!

Sealed Gameboy games go with a crazy premium. Not many survived and the plastic is very delicate. Not to mention that you can ruin the corners just by dropping it. This one for sure comes from a sealed distribution box from a high end collector (yes, especially in old Nintendo/Sega territory there are collectors of sealed distributor boxes).
$400 is also a super awesome price. I’ve seen complete in boxed with box damage go for €100 recently. Even loose carts go sell at crazy prices nowadays since many have dead batteries people are either trying to hoard them and replace the batteries or people desperately looking for those that still have a working battery.

How does your 7 look? I just recently bought one and it may be the weakest pass 7 I’ve ever seen. Out here lookin like a Beckett 8 :joy:
