You have all probably read @stagecoach wonderful put together story of our trade. So have I multiple times and I still get goosebumps reading it since our emotions where perfectly explained. I could not have written it better myself, stagecoach is such a talented story teller!

The stressfulness of shipping internationally and the high value trade were insane, but we are both so insanely happy with the trade and how it went!
I will focus on the mysterious pearl here. When I permanently returned to the hobby at the start of 2020 I decided my main goal would be to collect Japanese promos from 2001 to 2010. I did a lot of research on these promos and the mysterious pearl quickly became a favorite of mine. At that point I decided that it would be a lifetime goal of mine to eventually get the pearl. This would be the most insane card I would ever own, and now, only 3 years after making that lifetime goal it has been acquired. I am over the moon and I never thought I would own it so soon!
Not only is the card amazing, the story as well. There is something special about trading cards in this fast paced and high stakes hobby. It takes you back to the start of most of our collecting journeys at the schoolyard, where trading was the way to acquire cards. To be able to that again in this day and age is so insane! I am so happy with the trade and how we both helped each other get these insane cards in which we both were hesitant if we could ever find them at all. It was insanely rewarding to do this trade, thanks so much stagecoach!!!

Congrats, that is a big card! I had a double of it and sold it for $175 in summer 2020, now it’s worth thousands

Wow, awesome purchase!! That is a huge huge card. I was still trying to establish the distribution based on the question you asked about this card, maybe my hypothesis is not exact based on the PSA Pop, but, atleast I can say that this is a rare card. Congratulations on the buy. Very happy for you. Thanks for sharing.

Plan on bringing the zard to the Himeno signing rest are going out to PSA in my next sub
Purchased for the Himeno signing - always liked this art but not enough to be in my Top 2 so will be open to trades at Regionals if I don’t get a panel ticket

Happy to see that stagecoach finally got their pikachu, surprised (idk why lol) to see it was another forum member! It was wonderful to read that story and be able to share in the joy with you guys, making such a perfect trade! Im kinda curious, but understand if you arent comfortable/ able to share… howd you get your hands on that Pika in the first place?

Felt like making a topic for this would be a waste but…
what is the safest way to trade with someone online? Let’s say I’m talking to someone on eBay or Reddit, wherever, even here, what’s the safest way to do a trade with a “stranger”? Is there some place? A method perhaps?
