I did my first (!) Pokémon purchase last week since November. Been slowly getting back into it again after many, mainly mental, set backs over the last year. Bought really nothing impressive, just two Sun and Moon promos that I was able to get cheap and actually was still missing.

Wanted to wait until it actually has arrived, but since I’ve seen three Art Academy Pikachu cards being posted in the past few days, I figured I’d join the club:
It’s still at my US middleman, but will soon be shipped out (along with the rarest Yu-Gi-Oh card I’ve bought thus far, more on that later). I’m looking forward receiving it. 7 down, 5 more to go.

I had a break from buying cards recently but I’ve got the itch to expand my collection again!
I don’t know why I bought 4 of these. I think I got excited when I read what was going to be inside, lol. I opened one so I’m gonna keep the other 3 sealed:
This was an eBay purchase that arrived today. I paid less than the price of a booster box and got all of these, plus 4 Sun/Moon promos, plus a near complete Unbroken Bonds common/uncommon set including multiples. Seriously happy with this!
I also picked up some more Rotom cards which I’ll share in my collection thread when they arrive!
After just getting back into Pokemon collecting a few months ago I decided to send some of my cards from my childhood into PSA. Just got the package back and here are some of the results down below. Nothing PSA 10, which I knew I wouldn’t get but still some nice grades for cards just sitting in binders for ~2 decades.
Cant leave us hanging on that Yugioh card man! lol
I bought a crystal guardians binder from my local card store. Don’t have a pic of it at the moment but I’m pretty happy with it since it’s hard to find actual artwork from the older ex sets that are good quality. I’m hoping to buy an official crystal guardians pre release poster soon

It’s a COTD Prismatic Super Rare misprint. The BLLR set is pretty well-known for having Prismatic Secret Rare misprints which were supposed to be Ultra Rares. I bought one of those pretty soon after the BLLR set was released before I even knew a lot about these misprints:
They’re basically Prismatic Secret Rares, but with an Ultra Rare golden name instead of shattered silver Prismatic Secret Rare name (the BLLR nor COTD sets shouldn’t contain any Prismatic Secret Rares at all btw).
Since I collect one of each rarity, I also wanted the Super Rare version with this same misprint (Prismatic Secret Rare but without holofoil name), which can only be found in the 1st edition COTD set.
For the BLLR Ultra Rares, at least one of each card in the set has been seen with this misprint, and some even up to four copies. But for the COTD set, some of the Super and Ultra Rares in the set haven’t even been seen once with this misprint, and I only know about three with 2-3 copies seen thus far. Most of the ones that have popped up are pop-1 (thus far), like this Cyberse Wizard above that I’ve purchased.

I may have overpaid on the Magneton, but the back is WONDERFUL though the front had a few too many scratches ~
Thank you I had some other cards that I really loved get 6-7 but that was in line with what I was expecting after researching grading conditions, etc. Just wanted to get them in a PSA case 
One more Neo holo bleed for the collection.
Snagged this for a GREAT price. POP 15 as well, it’s gotta be undervalued.
